Strip & Inspect
Full tear-off to the deck. Old shingles, deteriorated felt, and corroded flashing removed and hauled to the dumpster. Deck inspection catches hidden damage — rotted sheathing, water-stained OSB, nail pops — before it's buried under new shingles.
Ice Shield & Drip Edge
The waterproofing layer is what protects your home if a shingle ever fails. We install ice-and-water shield at every vulnerable point — valleys, eaves, penetrations — then roll synthetic underlayment over the entire deck. Drip edge directs water into gutters, not behind fascia boards.
Shingle Installation
Field shingles installed with proper exposure and overlap. Nailed per manufacturer specs — 4 nails standard, 6 in high-wind zones. Starter strips at the eave prevent wind uplift. Ridge cap shingles finish every peak with integrated ridge vent for ventilation.
